Filling Home Housekeeper in Napoleon, Ohio

Filling Homes has an opening for a Housekeeper 1st shift full-time (80 hours/pay period) at our Residential Care Facility in Napoleon, Ohio. Hours: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm - Every other weekend/Every other Holiday.
Housekeeper is responsible for the day-to-day cleaning activities in resident living areas as well as general upkeep of the facility.
Job Duties include:
- Responsible for regular and timely attendance as scheduled. To maintain good working relationships with fellow staff members, excessive absences, late arrivals and early outs will not be tolerated.
- Maintains assigned areas in a sanitary and safe manner.
- Empty, clean and replace liners in waste cans
- Clean/polish tables, fixtures, furnishings, woodwork, if applicable.
- Clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish bathroom fixtures, Clean and sanitize bathroom tubs, toilets, sinks, and floors.
- Clean windows/mirrors in resident/client rooms, such as bathrooms, entrance/exit ways, patio doors.
- Clean all floors and baseboards by sweeping, dusting, wet mopping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc.
- Vacuum carpets
- Clean walls and ceilings by wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, etc., as necessary.
- Cooperate with other employees within the facility to maintain sanitary, safe conditions.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Preferred but not required, High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to apply and safely use cleaning chemicals.
- Must have the ability to interact with others in a positive manner and maintain harmonious working relationships with facility staff.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
