Do you take pride in providing excellent meals and having fun at the same time? Front Counter Host / Hostess will provide warm and pleasant Guests experience by offering personalized service and food and drink suggestions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to taking accurate orders, assembling prepared food and drink orders, walking orders to Guests inside and outside the restaurant and managing transactions. We welcome all individuals and ages, a recent retiree, adult returning to the workforce, high school students, etc. Nice to have restaurant or customer experience, but not required. The role is customer facing, so if you are quiet or shy, this role at our restaurant is probably not for you. Responsibilities:Explain menu items to include food and beverage offerings and offers suggestions to guestsCorrectly takes and enters orders in person and over the phoneAccepts payments for ordersUse and Manage Cashier/Pointy of Sale SystemAbility to work under pressureBrings orders to guests inside and outBuses tablesPrepare food in the fryerPerform the physical demands:Lift and carry up to 30 poundsStand for up to 8 hoursCan bend, reach, and stoopWalks constantly inside and outside the restaurantPolite phone mannersReliable transportation Speak EnglishSchedule will vary. We are open Tues to Saturday, 11 AM to 8 PM. Our employees make anywhere from $16 to $25 based on tips.Paid weekly, every Friday We are looking to have AM and PM coverage, and reasonably flexible on the hours.
