Position Details:

  • This is a hybrid position with the expectation to work in the office 4 days per week.

  • Up to 20% travel required to other business locations.

  • Compensation: $130,000 – 160,000 per year.

Position Scope:

As a Senior SAP Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of technology solutions that address complex business problems. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners, to understand requirements and translate them into innovative, scalable, and efficient technical solutions. Your expertise in technologies, frameworks, and methodologies will guide the architecture and integration of systems, ensuring they align with the organization’s strategic goals and deliver optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform hands-on solution design, solution architecture, architecture roadmaps, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and development tasks as required to support projects and programs as requested.

  • Provide solution architecture for projects and programs that are focused on processes, systems, applications, and technologies in areas such as Lead to Cash, Plan to Pay, Record to Reporting.

  • Ensure solutions are scalable and meet overall business requirements.

  • Act as a liaison between CoreMark IT and business teams, as well as with 3 rd Party Applications team (On-Prem / Cloud/ SAAS) to drive architecture solutions.

  • Be recognized as both functionally and technically advanced in SAP and Custom Development Platforms Including Mainframes.

  • Learn to develop clear options, measures of performance, and assessments for solution architecture to the project and program teams as required.

  • Document and proficiently explain complex architecture to technical and functional peers and as needed, to other levels of the organization.

  • Participate in Solution Architecture reviews with program and program teams prior to design and development activities and ensure the solution is scalable, is aligned with internal Enterprise roadmaps and meets the business requirements.

  • Participate in subsequent reviews of agreed architecture at critical project phases.

  • Mentor additional team resources as necessary.

  • Work with leadership in prioritizing work requests from a strategic perspective.

  • Complete work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience with systems process design and improvement; experience in developing integrated solutions involving process, data, and technology.

• Demonstrated experience with SAP technologies including BTP Web Dynpro, NetWeaver, EDI, IDOCs, BAPIs, API, ODATA Services, RFCs & FIORI.

• Demonstrated expert level knowledge of SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) and covering lead to cash (LTC), plan to pay (PTP) and Record to Report (RTR) process(es).

• Demonstrated advanced knowledge of SAP integration points for transactional and master data.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems similar field of study.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.

• SAP ERP integration with 3rd party applications such as Salesforce, MDM, OpenText or similar.

• SAP ERP add-on experience with Vistex, Serrala (Dolphin) and Application Interface Framework (AIF)

• TOGAF OR ERP certification
