Job Description
As a constantly growing company, Danfoss is looking for motivated employees who want to work with us on our success. We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join our diverse team.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Release PO for materials.
Follow up PO, Pull-in & Pull-out deliveries from suppliers based on stock level and production demand.
Be aware of material lead time, supplier’s capacity, manage forecast to key suppliers.
Effective, proactive liaison with relevant functions-departments
The first escalation point for supply and/or quality issues including documentation of supplier performance
Monthly reconciliation
Own and maintain procurement master data, incl. SAP data.
Pricing & Price Change Reporting
Cost saving –ITT tool usage
Supplier OTD management
Implement supplier performance assessment according to supplier management procedure.
Responsible for executing standard processes and various tools.
Background & Skills
Bachelor degree, mechanical engineering is preferred.
3 years or above of experience with purchasing function in a multinational corporation is preferred.
IATF16949 / VDA6.3/Basic quality
Proactive and excellent communication skills.
SAP experience is preferred.
Proficient in spoken and written English.
Be good at IT literacy (proficiency in Word, Excel, SharePoint, PPT and so on).
