Responsibilities

-Supervise the microbiology test team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.

-Oversee all microbiological testing to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

-Act as Micro expert to maintain site contamination control strategy

-Ensure environment monitoring and utility monitoring are implemented/trended according to local and global procedure, and relevant regulations.

-Develop and implement QC procedures and standards for microbiological testing.

-Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve quality issues.

-Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the microbiology test team

Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

-Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QC role in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

-Familiarity with regulatory standards for microbiological testing in the pharmaceutical industry.

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-High attention to detail and accuracy.

-Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
