Human Resources Director - Hybrid/Remote

The position of Human Resources Director consists of planning, directing, and coordinating human resource management activities of the organization. The goal of the Human Resources Director is to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain functions such as employee compensation, recruitment, personnel policies, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a high work ethic, excellent communication skills, knowledge of labor regulations and HR practices, strategic thinking abilities, strong organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. The exceptional HR Director should improve HR processes, implement strategies that support business growth, improve morale and employee retention, enhance safety and wellness, strengthen relations between staff and employers, manage job satisfaction, attract the best recruits, and promote the organization's values. Job duties directly or indirectly impact Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Retention, employee satisfaction, employee customer service, and the ability of Human Resources to serve as both a strategic and operational partner to internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Essential Functions:

Job Type: Full Time; hours determined by Chief Administrative Officer Developing and implementing human resources policies. Supporting strategic objectives. Hiring staff and negotiating employment agreements. Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Managing staff wellness and performance reviews. Motivating and supporting current staff. Maintaining staff records. Handling employee benefits. Identifying staffing needs and creating job descriptions. Designing and directing training programs. Promotes a culture of safety for clients and employees through proper identification, proper reporting, documentation, and prevention of medical errors in the environment. Positively promotes Britelife Recovery to prospective clients and employees. Oversee Human Resources personnel such as generalists and or recruiters, ensuring that the organization is effectively and efficiently sourcing and selecting the right candidates. Special Projects as needed. Positively promotes current organization to prospective clients and employees.

Qualifications:

· Minimum Bachelor's degree (preferable Human Resources Management)

· 5 years in Human Resources Directorship experience in Healthcare or Substance Use Treatment

Preferred Qualifications:

HR certification – SHRM-SP or HRCI (preferred)
