Who We Are:
Grafton Job Corps provides students, ages 16-24, with academic and career training. We assist with employment placement and offer 8 different trades for students to choose from. We are looking for an enthusiastic Counselor to join our team!
This Counselor would be a temporary member of our team for 6-8 weeks while an employee is out on leave.
This position works 8am-5pm Monday, 11am-8pm Tuesday-Thursday, and 8am-5pm Friday.
This is a salaried position making the rate of 48,000 annually.
Position Summary:
Responsible for providing personal/career counseling for students to enhance student employability and to ensure continued enrollment and quantifiable success in the Job Corps program. Identifies and remediates student barriers to success and develops individualized student career educational plans. Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (including at least 15 semester hours in Social Services-related instruction) from an accredited school required. A minimum of one-year experience in counseling or related field. Prefer previous Job Corps or related program experience. Must possess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements.
