Job Summary

Dominion Energy SC is seeking a Process Assistant II or III l to work in our Eastern Division Gas Operations, which is based in the Myrtle Beach Gas Operations Office. This position is responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties to include time entry, ordering and maintaining inventory of office supplies, maintaining departmental files, independently reviewing and processing invoices/expense reports for approval and payment and reconciling procurement cards. This position is also responsible for composing routine office correspondence and handling all functions related to the setup and preparation of weekly and monthly meetings. Will be responsible for gathering information from a variety of sources to assist in preparing reports and verifying associated data.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Minimum Requirements (Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications):

  • Process Assistant II: Must have at least two (2) years of administrative, business or office related experience.

  • Process Assistant III: Must have at least five (5) years of administrative, business or office related experience.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Both Levels:

  • Must have excellent organizational skills, strong oral and written communications skills, effective interpersonal skills, can handle multiple assignments simultaneously and work independently with limited supervision.

  • Candidates must possess excellent computer skills to include having a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and should be able to send meeting requests, reserve facilities on-line, perform mail merges, and maintain current contact lists; must also have a familiarity with database applications.

  • The ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding departmental information is a must.

  • Candidates that have a working knowledge of Epsilon for time entry, PeopleSoft for processing invoices, and PeopleSoft for ordering supplies are preferred.

Education Requirements

High School diploma accredited by an organization that is recognized by the Council for Higher Education accreditation or one of the entities recognized by the U. S. Dept. of Education (or GED).

  • Microsoft Excel - This test evaluates a candidate's ability to perform certain operations in a simulated environment of MS Excel, and includes the following topics: Applying Formulas and Functions, Creating and Analyzing Data, Formatting Cells, Data, and Content, Managing Workbooks and Worksheets, Presenting Data Visually, and Printing and Views.

  • Microsoft PowerPoint - This test evaluates a candidate’s ability to perform certain operations in a simulated environment of Microsoft PowerPoint, and includes the following topics: Applying Transitions and Animations, Creating, Managing, and Saving Presentations, Formatting Presentation Content, Reviewing, Collaborating, and Delivering Presentations, and Working with Multimedia Elements, Images, and Illustrations.
