Trinity Health Registered Nurse ( RN ) - Women's & Children's Unit / Mother-Baby in Muskegon, Michigan

Women and Children's / Mother Baby

7p-7:30a 72hrs per pp - weekends and holidays rotating per the CBA

Position Purpose:

Coordinates total patient nursing care for patients, participated in-patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standard for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

What you will do:

Registered Nurse, RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse, RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience. Must have analytical ability to assess and evaluate patient's condition and utilize the nursing process; interpersonal skills necessary to constantly communicate with patients, families, medical personnel, and other members of the health care team; ability to work cooperatively within the framework of the nursing team; ability to perform effectively and efficiently under pressure and stressful critical situations; ability to operate a computer.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited professional school of nursing.

  • Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.

  • Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.

  • Pediatric, Mother/Baby, /Medical/ Surgical Nursing experience preferred

  • Required to have Life Support (BLS) Certification

  • Required to complete NRP certification within 3 months of orientation.

  • PALS certification will be required to be completed by end of orientation.
