Description:

Summary: To assist the surgery staff and physicians in providing professional, quality, service oriented care to the patient and family in the perioperative setting. Qualifications: High school graduate. Completion of a Medical Assistant Program preferred. Equivalent education and /or Prior employment experience preferred. Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification or completion of certification within probationary period. Prior patient care experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Knowledge of sterile technique preferred. Ability to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions. Ability to adjust to changing conditions and varied workloads.

Relif position: Hrs of work will be between 8a and 5p and weekend on call hours are available
