Position Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician will primarily support a centralized prior authorization clinic in Muskegon, MI. Pharmacy technician support involves resolving and appealing prior authorization claims from Trinity Health Medical Group. The technician may also support other ambulatory pharmacy clinics as needed.
What the Pharmacy Technician will Need:
Minimum High school education or equivalent.
Preferred Completion of formal pharmacy technician training program.
Minimum Fully licensed as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in the State of Michigan. Currently employed Pharmacy Technicians at Trinity Health may also satisfy this requirement with a Limited Pharmacy Technician Licensure.
Minimum One year of pharmacy work experience. Prefer experience in multiple healthcare settings.
