Job Title: QA Technician
Job Description
Review and approve records to ensure compliance.
Identify deviations, initiate, and coordinate completion of Non-Conformance and Corrective Action (CAPA) investigations including root cause analyses.
Disposition of raw materials and products as Hold/Release/Quarantine, as applicable, and dispositioning materials in electronic WMS system.
Conduct basic food safety/cGMP and quality-related training for new hires.
Assist with the development of SOPs related to manufacturing processes and production personnel compliance training.
Provide support as needed during audits by regulatory and third parties.
Conduct and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual environmental testing as part of the Environmental Monitoring Program.
Collect raw materials to prepare and/or conduct testing.
Sample finished products to collect data and identify sensory attributes.
Evaluate sensory characteristics for product approval and shelf life studies.
Work with production personnel to correct processes if the product is out of compliance.
Convey test results to the appropriate personnel and follow up if needed.
Complete audits based on the production schedule.
Conduct and coordinate facility environmental testing.
Promote and follow GMPs for the facility.

Food Manufacturing Plant - 50/50 lab vs floor. Training for 3-6 months on 1st shift 6 a.m. - 3 p.m. Then will move to 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. or 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
