High School Music Teacher - $40/hr

As a High School Music Teacher, you’ll inspire students to appreciate and create music. Your responsibilities will include:
Teaching Music Basics: Introducing students to rhythm, melody, harmony, and musical notation.
Instrumental Instruction: Teaching students to play musical instruments.
Vocal Training: Providing singing instruction from beginner to advanced levels.
Incorporating Movement: Integrating movement and musical instruments into lessons.
Lesson Planning: Creating engaging lesson plans and implementing them effectively.
Concert Preparation: Preparing students for school concerts and music experiences.
Exam Readiness: Assisting students in practicals and exams.
After-School Clubs: Encouraging student participation in music clubs.
Mentoring: Building relationships and mentoring students.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in music.
State teaching license.
Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to set and mark examination papers.
