Aston Carter Customer Service Representative in Muscatine, Iowa

We are seeking a motivated customer service representative to join our team!

Description:

Work with customers to coordinate shipments to and from the warehouse to meet key customer delivery requirements

Generate associated documents for customer shipments including pick sheets, packing lists, and bills of lading

Receive inbound freight and verify contents.

Reconcile product received with packing list information to identify any discrepancies

Create and apply labels to properly identify parts per customer specifications

Communicate with customer and carriers for transporting customer orders and receipts

Promptly communicate any problems to the customer associated with outbound shipments and inbound receipts, including product availability, damage, inventory discrepancies, and carrier issues

Enter inventory transactions into the warehouse management system (WMS) or customer-specific data system and manage the integrity of inventory accuracy Properly file associated warehouse and shipping documents for future reference

Effectively communicate with warehouse operations to ensure proper scheduling of activities including inbound and outbound freight, physicals inventories, cycle counts, and special customer requests/projects

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

2+ years of call center customer service

Prefer bilingual candidate

Prefer prior experience in the logistics field

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
