Job Title: Party ChiefJob Description
Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of performing basic land surveys, including leveling, traversing, triangulation, metes and bounds surveys, topographic surveys, and construction surveys. Interpret horizontal and vertical control points, records, and data sheets, as well as basic plan reading. Understand sources of measurement errors. Experience with Carlson SurvCE, robotic total stations, and Javad GPS equipment is a plus.
Responsibilities
Perform basic land surveys such as leveling, traversing, and triangulation.
Conduct metes and bounds surveys, topographic surveys, and construction surveys.
Interpret horizontal and vertical control points, records, and data sheets.
Understand and identify sources of measurement errors.
Utilize Carlson SurvCE, robotic total stations, and Javad GPS equipment.
Essential Skills
Experience as a rodman, field technician, and in construction staking.
Knowledge of boundary and topographic surveying.
Ability to read and interpret basic plans.
Strong math skills.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs multiple times a day.
Ability to obtain security clearances for access to client facilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field.
4+ years of field survey experience preferred.
Survey-specific higher education is a plus but not required.
DOT experience is a plus.

Work in a small business environment with a flexible schedule and the potential for bonuses. The firm is women-owned and partners with the largest engineering firms on projects, providing a mix of public and private work for stability and job security. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00
