We also provide smart energy management systems that can combine EV charging infrastructure with battery storage systems and renewable energy generation. What part will you play?

  • You design and develop software architectures and code base for proof of concepts and new products

  • You collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and agile development teams to gather requirements, create technical specifications, and specify technical solutions for new requirements and product features

  • You are also responsible to involve relevant stakeholders (for example project managers, product managers, test managers) in the decision making process

  • You ensure that the software code meets quality standards, including performance, (cyber) security and reliability

  • With your knowledge, you bring maturity, vision, depth of domain and technical expertise to our team and have the ability to identify, analyze and resolve technical issues in a timely manner

  • You stay up to date with industry trends and new technologies, continuously improving software design and development processes (e.g. use of ChatGPT for efficient coding)

  • You look for solutions of problems in existing code bases using advanced refactoring techniques and resolve those

What you need to make real what matters.

  • You hold a master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • You have a longterm experience in software development, with a focus on EV charging

  • Proficient use of JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub

  • Extensive knowledge in compiled programming languages (e.g. C++, C) as well as script-based programming languages (e.g. Python, Javascript)

  • You have a profound Knowledge of cloud architectures, common API interfaces (REST)

  • Knowledge of electromobility-relevant protocols ISO15118, OCPP, EEBus, etc. is an advantage

  • Affinity and experience in agile software development (Scrum, SAFe) and requirements engineering

  • You are familiar with tools for requirement analysis, version control, debugging, programming (IDE) and testing

  • You are a committed, independently working and reliable team player and have good communication skills, can-do mentality and are enthusiastic about electromobility

  • Fluent English skills are a prerequisite for cooperation with our international team
