What part will you play?
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer (f/m/d), you lead the project management for pre-development initiatives of cutting-edge charging solutions for electric vehicles (prototype construction)
You independently design electromechanical components and prototypes, considering electrical and thermal requirements, while meeting quality and cost objectives
You develop cost-optimized designs ("Design-to-Cost") in collaboration with the "Cost & Value Engineering" team
You also coordinate with suppliers and our purchasing department to integrate components seamlessly into projects
You assess material needs, including qualification criteria, regulations, standards, and sustainability considerations
You maintain constructive requirements and development status using tools like MyTeamCenter
You provide consultation and support during implementation with clients
What you need to make real what matters.
You hold a master’s degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on electromechanical design
You have a longterm practical design experience in the industrial sector, specializing in product and prototype development
You have a profound knowledge of CAD/CAM applications, particularly Siemens NX
Familiarity with Siemens Teamcenter is advantageous
Hands-on experience in assembly and prototype construction
Committed, independent, and reliable team player with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to electromobility
Demonstrated leadership experience
Fluent in English for international communication and report writing
