The Munich Marriott City West sets new benchmarks and standards in meetings & events. Inspired by the Bavarian lifestyle and with 398 guest rooms and suites and nearly 5000 sqm of public space, including a state-of-the-art conference center, customized and first-class event needs are put into practice. The upscale concept includes the Italian restaurant & Vineria Assoluto with open show kitchen, the Assoluto Caffe and the Westhub Lounge & Bar, offering an outstanding culinary offering combined with warm hospitality in a stylish ambience. Our guests are also delighted by the spectacular roof terrace and MClub Lounge with panoramic views over the city, all the way to the Bavarian Alps. You are a passionate host and approach our international guests with warmth, openness and professionalism to make their stay something special. You know exactly how to lead and motivate a team on shift, keep an overview even in complex situations and always find a solution. Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner - you have the view of your area supports your team and puts trendy ideas in the area of F&B into practice.
What your responsibilities are...
You manage the operational aspects of your shift (early or late shift)
You never lose sight of the big picture when things get busy and can properly guide and deploy your team
You successfully put creative and innovative F&B concepts into action. Perhaps you also have your own ideas that you would like to contribute?
You communicate clearly with your superiors and other departments and you are a real team player.
You enjoy passing on your extensive knowledge to the team and especially to the trainees.
You are no stranger to social media and you regularly provide content for our marketing teamYou are responsible for the further development of our banquet team and trainees and enjoy passing on your extensive knowledge

You have at least 2 years of sound professional experience in the upscale hotel/gastronomy industry
You have already gained some experience in leading and motivating employees
You are a hands-on person and implement new trends with great creativity
Your strong awareness of quality and your high standards are evident in everything you do
You are a communication talent with good German and English skills
You are an organizational talent and do not lose track of things
Your winning appearance, your can-do attitude and hands-on mentality are a natural part of your personality
Your guest orientation and willingness to perform inspire the team
Your enthusiasm to share your knowledge with the team and trainees is contagious!
