Job Title: Process Technician
Job Description
As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for setting molds, starting up and shutting down injection molding machines, and understanding basic machine functions as specified by work orders or setup parameter sheets. You will complete basic troubleshooting and escalate complex problems, write maintenance work orders for part quality and general machine issues, and identify and document process parameters such as hot runner controls.
Responsibilities
Set molds, start up, and shut down injection molding machines.
Understand and follow work orders or setup parameter sheets.
Complete basic troubleshooting and escalate complex issues.
Write maintenance work orders for part quality and machine issues.
Identify and document process parameters such as hot runner controls.
Maintain machines and perform preventive maintenance during night shifts.
Perform mold changes, troubleshooting, and work orders during day shifts.
Essential Skills
2 years of injection mold equipment setup or operating experience for Process Tech 1.
3-4 years of process tech experience and independent machine running experience for Process Tech 2.
Ability to understand hot runner alarms and estop locations.
Troubleshoot equipment independently.
Understand and explain basic functions of molds, machine HMI screens, and material loading vacuum systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Husky equipment is a plus.
Experience running an overnight shift or as a lead is a plus.
Eagerness to learn more about maintenance and processing of equipment.

Work Environment
The work environment includes three different production rooms, two of which are climate-controlled. You will work across all three rooms and need to be comfortable with varying workloads. The warehouse is hot in the summers and cool in the winters. Employees are required to wear steel-toed boots or work boots, and blank t-shirts without graphics. Shorts are allowed. You will be part of a team of approximately 60 employees, handling tasks outside the job description and collaborating with colleagues.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MUNDELEIN, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.50
