Job Title: Machine Attendant

Job Description

Aerotek is hiring for our client located in Mundelein, IL that is looking to hire a machine operator within their team long-term. The role involves attending machines that automatically generate various plastic medical components. The machines produce over 50 different types of medical products, such as bottles, wheelchair parts, and bedpans. Candidates will rotate between three rooms to change things up throughout the shift. This position does not involve operating or setting up the machines, only monitoring them.

Shifts available:

• 3rd shift: 6pm-6am

• (12hr rotating schedule, one week will work 4 days including Monday Tuesday Friday Saturday & the following week work 3 days Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday total of 36hrs)

Pay :

$20.00 per hour plus $1.50/HR shift differential totaling $21.50/HR

General duties include:

• Watching machines to ensure they keep running correctly, notifying a technician if needed.

• Placing completed material from the machine on a pallet.

• Labeling completed material and packaging as needed.

• Removing excess plastic from the machine

• Visually inspecting the material
