HPC Industrial Mechanic - Industrial shop services in Muncy, Pennsylvania

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, in Muncy, PA is looking for an Industrial Mechanic to join their safety conscious team. Focuses on repairing, maintaining, dismantling, and moving large and/or complex stationary manufacturing equipment including, but not limited to leveling, aligning, and installing industrial machinery (e.g., production equipment, etc.) on foundations/base plates using hand and power tools. Problems typically are not routine and require analysis to understand. Mechanical experience, Lathe operations and welding experience required.

  • Promote HPC-Industrial’s safety, environmental and operations policies.

  • Timely and accurate completion and review of paperwork documenting work functions.

  • Dismantles/moves machinery/equipment using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks. Tests, troubleshoots, repairs machines and equipment and orders/installs replacement parts.

  • Determines and performs required maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, aligning/adjusting parts, calibrating, etc.).

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent.

  • 2 years of mechanical repair experience.

  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills.

  • Current certification as an authorized HPC-Industrial driver.

  • Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting HPC-Industrial equipment (ei, centrifuges, hydraulics, hvy. Equipment repair is preferred.

  • Welding experience required.
