FAMILIES UNITED NETWORK INC Administrative Assistant II/Board Liaison in Muncy, Pennsylvania

The Administrative Assistant/Board Liaison performs a full range of secretarial, administrative, and clerical duties for the Chief Executive Officer and administrative staff. Flexible hours between 20-30 weekly.

  • Maintain all administrative files, vendor contracts, consultant contracts, county contracts in accordance with the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare and agency policies.
  • Prepare administrative documents, correspondence, and other typing and filing.
  • Prepare and e-mail the Board of Director's packet one week prior to the meeting.
  • Prepare  binders, attend the Board of Directors meeting, and maintain monthly minutes and financial reports for each fiscal year.
  • Track Board members term renewals and annual officer appointments.
  • Plan for agency-wide social and recreational functions. 
  • Maintain oversight of telephone and voice mail systems.
  • Attend and take minutes for agency meetings, as requested.
  • Draft correspondence and proofread documents for the administrative staff.
  • Update Policy Manuals and inform staff of changes.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Three years minimum job proven experience in an office environment.
  • Eligibility under current PA legal and regulatory requirements 
  • Valid PA Driver's License
  • Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Police Clearance, and  FBI Clearance
  • Ability to organize, facilitate, and participate in team initiatives
  • Sensitivity to service population's cultural and social economic characteristics

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit for prolonged periods of time.
