Technical Specialist is responsible for providing a service to clients by proactively identifying and resolving technical incidents and problems. Through preemptive service incident and resolution activities, as well as product reviews, operational improvements, operational practices, and quality assurance this role will maintain a high level of service to clients. Their primary objective is to ensure zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions .Technical Specialist is responsible for managing tickets of low to high complexity.

Working at NTT

  • Handle Incidents, S1,S2,S3 calls.

  • Troubleshoot OS level, Active directory, Messaging, DNS and cluster related issues.

  • Configurating clusters between different environments.

  • Preparing CR along with POA for Activities like OS upgrades, AD upgrades, major GPO changes.

  • Maintianing Asset and License inventory.

  • Reviewing Performance reports of servers.

  • Assisitance on Auditing, providing details, reviewing access, creating SPOs.

  • Assistance on implementing servers for compliance and DR purpose like OOB, NPS.

  • Assist application teams during activities like DR drills, application upgrades.

  • Assisting windows team during technical road blocks.

  • Review Windows team tickets for aging and for checking if linear troubleshooting followed.

  • Providing triages to team on various topics link troubleshooting performance issues, OS issues, AD topology and concepts of AD, DNS, DHCP, Certificates, Clusters, GPOs etc.

  • Assisting with generating reports from AD servers.

  • Meetings with team on pending activities, tickets and planning actionables.

  • Assisting on software deployment on multiple servers.
