About the role:
BI developer will be responsible for communicating with various stakeholders across geographies on their BI requirements. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining BI reports using Microsoft Power BI and various other tools on the Microsoft Power Platform.
The candidate must have experience in creating powerful Power BI dashboards, good understanding of SQL concepts, ETL processes and data analytics.
The candidate must also work on related technologies and platforms like Azure Cloud (primarily ADF), GIT, SQL etc.
Responsibilities:
Collaborating with stakeholders across multiple geographies to understand their BI requirements and provide solutions.
Create and maintain data models.
Developing and maintaining dashboards using MS Power BI and MS Power BI Report Builder.
Perform unit testing and performance testing using related tools.

Requirements:
Should have 3+ years of experience.
Knowledge of SDLC process like requirement gathering, design, implementation (Coding), testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Proficient in requirement gathering and documentation
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
Strong problem solving skills
Should have good knowledge on MS Power BI – Desktop and Service.
Proficient in creating views, stored procedures, writing queries, etc in SQL Server or other databases.
Experience in working with data models – star and snowflake schema.
Experience in handing various datasources like Excel, SQL, API, etc.
Experience in data manipulations using Power Query.
Proficient in creating calculated columns, writing DAX measures for calculations, aggregations and custom measures.
Experience in setting up scheduled refresh of Power BI datasets and troubleshooting refresh failures.
Performance optimization using Performance Analyzer, DAX Studio, etc.
Experience in building paginated reports using MS Report Builder is preferrable.
Experience with ETL tools for data extraction, transformation and loading.
Knowledge in implementing row-level security.
Knowledge of code reviews and best practices
Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Good to have basic knowledge of Azure Cloud.
Must have a positive attitude and desire to learn new processes and technologies.
