Credit Suisse Process Regulatory Mapping Lead and Location Supervisor #172329 in Mumbai, India

To support our continued effort to grow our Private Banking franchise to a leading force in Asia, we have established the Target Operating Model (TOM), Process and Regulatory Mapping team within PB APAC’s Competency Center (CoC) under the leadership of the PB APAC COO office. The PB APAC Competency Centers support the Private Bank in establishing and maintaining frameworks associated with key risks the business is facing and drive the digital and operational improvement agenda forward with pace. This team will provide a crucial capability to enable an efficient, consistent and efficient process and control landscape for Private Banking APAC as well as ensure a robust framework and methodology is in place for driving operating model transformation initiatives front to back. The Process and Regulatory Mapping Lead will be responsible for the framework and toolset for mapping key PB APAC processes following a consistent standard and act as gate keeper for process updates as well as a trusted advisor for other Competency Centers on operational improvement and documentation quality. The goal of the team is to bring the current state procedure governance to the next level with traceability from processes to specific risks, related controls and associated regulations and drive towards an end state that integrates front-to-back processes. In addition to the core functional mandate of Process and Regulatory mapping, this role will double hat as the Powai Location supervisor overseeing a team of approx. 38 resources (supporting PB APAC) from a location management perspective (e.g. HR, office matters, etc.) The role involves a range of activities including Functional mandate – Process and Regulatory Mapping * Maintain the central process mapping framework and toolset * Act as a trusted advisor to Process Owners on documentation of processes and mapping to regulations, risks, controls and issues * Manage central repository for Process Owners to publish process and procedure updates following a regular schedule * Run governance for publishing process and procedure updates and ensure a consistent standard is followed across Process Owners * Maintain central knowledge management for Front Office process and procedure guidance * Monitor process mapping and documentation quality efforts are being achieved * Coordinate with Process Owners to plan process continuous improvement efforts and identify best-practice opportunities to apply across processes * Drive planning and regular reporting of process measurement metrics * Provide input into Process Mapping tooling requirements and technology roadmap Location supervisory mandate * Location SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for the PB APAC Powai Team * Overarching coordination tasks (Seating Plan, Work from Home planning, and Location direction for BCP etc.) * Build connectivity and team spirit in the new to be set up Powai CoC Team * Support recruitment efforts as well as training, career planning and talent retention for this Team Your future colleagues PB APAC COO Office has a vision to grow our footprint in India. Approx. 40% of the resources mentioned above will be newly onboarded in Powai in 2021 to support the regional CoC teams (who are based in Singapore and Hong Kong). The Powai CoC team will support key risk topics such as AML/KYC, Tax, Cross Border, Data, etc. and the team is expected to grow further in 2022. Whilst the functional management of the Team will be undertaken by the relevant regional CoC lead, the role holder will support the initial grooming, training and upskilling of the new team with guidance from the Deputy CoC Head in the region You are expected to possess the below: * Minimum 12-15 years of relevant working experience in Financial Services * At least 5 years’ experience of working in Private Banking in a role with exposure to technology and operational improvement * Proficient in Private Banking process and control landscape would be an advantage * Preferably some experience of business process management tools, coordinating process updates, ongoing governance and maintenance of a central repository across various business partner groups * Ability to quickly build rapport, credibility, trust, and respect with business partners throughout the organization at all levels with a client oriented attitude * An open, flexible, and team oriented personality, can think and act independently * Outstanding people management skills with the ability to lead and shape teams * Self-motivated with strong interpersonal and project management skills needed to handle the coordination of multiple priorities * Outstanding organizational skills with ability to think outside the box, operate in a dynamic, often-changing environment with a solutions oriented attitude Job: Risk Management* *Title: *Process Regulatory Mapping Lead and Location Supervisor #172329 Location: India-Mumbai-Mumbai Requisition ID: 172329
