Change Management – Delivery Non Ledger – Financial Solutions Analyst II – C10

The Controllers System and Data Operations (CSDO) function within Finance Controllers group is responsible for supporting data operations, data quality assurance, configurations/cross platform services and change management function for both ledger and non ledgers, CSDO also supports balance sheet and reconciliations and different controllers adjustments, EUC and data initiatives.

The Requirements Sr. Lead Analyst will be responsible for managing the delivery of requirements/enhancements to support different reporting requirements across applications supported by CSDO Change Management – Delivery Non Ledger. A solid understanding of Finance and Risk Data Warehouse Operations, as well as, Project Management is also required.

The person needs to be a leader on the team with substantial professional experience, can coordinate deliverables across different areas/functions, communicates well with senior management and is a self-starter (i.e. takes the initiative and does not require much supervision). The person will need to be fully focused on Implementation but should assist in troubleshooting Production issues and/or providing coverage (if other responsibilities permit)

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day deliverables of the processes/workstream supported Globally;

  • Establish partnership with different Finance groups, Risk, Data Service leads, Change management lead, and Technology;

  • Work closely with Technology and different stakeholders in the release schedule assignment/prioritization to ensure that work is prioritized accordingly with end-to-end consideration

  • Lead and ensure appropriate handoff process of requirements to testing, and Technology team; and work with different partners to ensure correctness and completeness of impact assessments or functional requirements

  • Coordinate and ensure pre-approval of change item are properly obtained per process

  • Be able to act as application SME with strong understanding of functionalities and process to support the overall program, and ensures that there’s no overlaps or conflicts within other changes

  • Provide requestors with support and guidance on how to submit their requests ensuring alignment with strategic direction of the Program/application

  • Work with testing team in ensuring that fundamental test strategies/plan, design and scripts are documented, consistent with the requirement, and agreed with key stakeholders and data consumers, if applicable

  • Preparation, coordination and drive of meetings with customers, business & Technology for testing and requirements close out purposes.

  • Support and/or participate in actual UAT testing, as needed, which will require a strong emphasis on analytical skills and ensure necessary documentations are accomplished prior to production migration

  • Lead and support the delivery of identified projects/initiatives which have been highlighted by the business as key deliverables. This will involve the preparation/documentation of Business Requirements.

  • Lead reviews with key stakeholders of testing results clearly articulating any issues discovered in addition to presenting viable solutions. Attention to detail in addition to the ability to make independent decisions opining quickly on complex issues

  • Ensures the delivery of complete documentation of test results or data analysis required every cycle with respect to change management and enhancement governance and risk and control requirements

  • Facilitate and execute post -production migration validation in coordination with Production team and testing team

  • Provide cross-platform support related to integration, or source related request activities

  • Provide and implement ideas for process re-engineering

Critical Competencies:

  • 2-5+ years relevant work experience in large financial services, consulting, shared services’ operations related or similar industry.

  • With basic understanding of financial and regulatory reporting is preferred.

  • Has experience on Software Development Life cycle in the area of Change Management for Data Warehousing, finance and risk related systems.

  • Good written and oral communication, influencing and presentation skills – must be able to present and influence across organization level and functions.

  • Aptitude to translate strategy into execution in a complex and cross-functional organization.

  • A self-starter with ability to independently manage work and drive multiple deliverables concurrently.

  • Demonstrated capability and maturity to work in an individual capacity and must proactively seek out ways to enhance the mission and identify new data analysis needs.

  • Able to set priorities and discuss experience in adapting to emergent or dynamic requirements.

  • High proficiency in MS Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • High caliber team player with good judgment, flexibility and productivity with good track record in establishing partnership and team work.

  • Quick learner, customer focused with ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced changing environment.

  • Forward looking with ability to mitigate and overcome any challenging roadblocks. Must have “can do” attitude.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements in a heavily matrix organization.
