Microsoft Corporation Cloud Solution Architect - Power Platform in Multiple Locations, United States

We are looking to hire a Cloud Solution Architect - Power Platform - to join Microsoft Federal.

The Business Applications Solution Area within Microsoft Federal helps customers maximize their investment in the Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions as well as the full portfolio of Microsoft Products through accelerated implementation and adoption. Responsibilities

The Cloud Solution Architect delivers technical solutions to customers allowing them to maximize their investment in Microsoft technology. Building upon solid IT project experience relative to their level, these Cloud Solution Architects will work with Microsoft's partners to assist customers in the delivery of high-quality engagements around Microsoft's solution areas, technologies, services and products in diverse client environments. The Cloud Solution Architect will also help assist customers in stabilizing developed solutions using Microsoft methodologies in complex customer environments, in the design and development of integrated solutions using the latest Microsoft products, services and technologies and understanding the relevant application development, infrastructure and operations implications of the developed solution.

  • Demonstrated experience in analysis skills and principles of the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Solutions to provide detailed and reliable options.

  • Drive client workshops to demonstrate product capabilities and gather customer requirements.

  • Analyze requirements and aid in designing technical solutions to meet business goals, objectives and functional/non-functional requirements in alignment with architectural standards.

  • Lead support and deployment tasks related to the Power Platform and Dynamics 365

  • Provide subject matter expertise to customers around support and implementation methodologies and how to successfully deploy solutions.

  • Work with other team members and leaders, proactively identify and mitigate/resolve risks and issues.

  • Contribute best practices, lessons learned and IP from projects to the global community with focus on continuous improvement.

  • Foster client relationships and engage with client stakeholders to gather requirements, develop plans and drive solution success.

  • Demonstrae strong stakeholder management, communication and executive presentation skills

  • Successfully demonstrate experience in Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power App and Power Automate

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years’ experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 3 plus years of experience working with Power BI

Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport.

Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This role will require access to information that is controlled for export under U.S. export control regulations, potentially under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations or the Export Administration Regulations.  As a condition of employment, the successful candidate will be required to provide proof of citizenship, for assessment of eligibility to access the export-controlled information. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport.

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Security Clearance

Cloud Solution Architecture IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
