Microsoft Corporation Senior Test Integration Engineer - Ciudad Juarez in Multiple Locations, Mexico

This role is 100% On-site and it is located in Ciudad Juarez.

The Devices Repair Engineering team leads and orchestrates world class reverse supply chain capabilities to enable repairability solutions in Factory and Field. As a Test Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and sustaining for integrated test solutions for our devices supporting hardware and software platforms designed for our line of products. You will be located Full time in a Factory environment working on a worldwide scope which gives you flexible work hours.

Responsibilities

  • You will address strategy and evaluate risk levels through testing and improve effectiveness by identifying and removing non-value elements. You'll architect test stations, develop future technologies and products, and consider how to leverage sub automation in the architecture.

  • Contributes to security policy and standards; maintains accurate and comprehensive security policy and standards; designs mitigation strategies to addresses identified gaps in policy. Educates others (e.g., business partners, peers, industry) on security policy. Recognizes patterns and trends and recommends solutions for improvement.

  • You will meet design specifications, drive efforts to ensure that verifications have been met, and manage risk and change to schedules. You will develop and maintain documentation on process and procedures and document tasks your team is responsible for.

  • You will develop appropriate test processes, perform tasks that align the current work with new products, and help define the best strategy. You’ll collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure continuity of supply and conduct maintenance for all of a tester’s elements.

  • Works with factory, new product introduction (NPI) and dev engineering stakeholders to discuss different dev/test phase scenarios and how they can integrate new tools and automation options based on their understanding of test stages and tool/automation best practices. Works at the factory level at each test stage on the implementation of certain test tools as they build hardware/software into its end-state with some support from others. Helps connect issues from customers/Test Data Centers and correlate that with what is happening at the factory level. Networks with design, validation, and hardware/software teams based on their understanding.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field OR 4+ years enterprise computer, consumer electronics design or hyperscale supply chain systems experience OR hyperscale supply chain systems experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with broad software development skills and capabilities across multiple languages: Python, C#, C++, and Java.

  • Experience developing and sustaining software test solutions, frameworks for a broad manufacturing network and site locations.

  • This role requires proficiency in written, reading, and conversational English as all business operations and communications are conducted in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science OR related field OR 6+ years enterprise computer, consumer electronics design.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Python programming
