MC Farms LLC Cidery Supervisor in Mullica Hill, New Jersey
POSITION DUTIES: Assist in year-round operations of apple cider and farming, including planting, growing, harvest, repacking, and cold storage by doing the following: Oversee the maintenance and pruning of apple plants. Direct and monitor the work of casual and seasonal help during planting and harvesting (farmworkers, graders and sorters). Provide constant presence for year-round loading and unloading of products onto trucks, and drive trucks to market or storage facilities. Unload apples into cold storage. Assist in apple pressing for cider. Work within cider facility to ensure product is properly placed on to conveyor belting and forklift. Utilize machinery to wash and move apples to bottling, labeling, palletizing, and stacking. Oversee repacking of fruits and vegetables for importers and distributors. As needed, engage in hand harvesting of crops. Participate, as needed, in cleaning, grading, sorting, packing, and loading harvested crops.
