As Benefit Administrator, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

  • Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.

  • Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Manage relationships with benefit vendors and third-party administrators, resolving issues related to claims, coverage, or billing.

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and FMLA.

  • Prepare and submit compliance reports, such as 5500 filings, ACA reporting, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Generate and distribute required benefit notices to employees, including COBRA notifications, benefits summaries, and SPDs.

  • Assist employees with understanding their benefits options, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.

  • Guide employees through the enrollment process and provide detailed information on plan features, coverage levels, costs, and eligibility.

  • Respond to employee inquiries via phone, email, and self-service ticketing system, resolving issues and providing guidance during open enrollment periods and qualifying life events.

  • Performs other duties/projects as assigned.

What is Required?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or related HR role.

  • Knowledge of employee benefits programs and associated regulations (e.g. ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, etc.)

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Proficiency with HRIS/Benefits Administration platforms.

  • Experience with HRIS Systems such as ADP, Workday or similar platforms.

  • Familiarity with benefits-related compliance reporting (Form 5500, 1095-C, etc.)

  • Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.

  • Limited travel may be required for meetings, benefits fairs or employee events.

You will report to the Benefits Supervisor.
