EDUStaff Position: Individuals hired into this position will be employed by EDUStaff and assigned to Mid Michigan College.

W.A.V.E is a post-secondary readiness pilot program designed to support local high school districts and their students. The program aims to help students explore opportunities, gain invaluable knowledge, and build confidence as they navigate their post-secondary paths with purpose and possibility.

This position provides vital administrative and clerical support, including scheduling, communications, record-keeping, and event coordination for the W.A.V.E. program. It ensures efficient program operations and requires strong organizational and communication skills.

This is a 2-year grant funded position, which ends on June 30, 2026. The individual hired into this position will be employed by EDUStaff and assigned to Mid Michigan College.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support to all aspects of the W.A.V.E Program.
  2. Schedule and organize W.A.V.E sessions with high school districts, including communication with district representatives, maintaining event calendars, and coordinating guest and volunteer facilitators.
  3. Assist in survey building, assignments, and reporting within Xello (K12 software used in college and career readiness).
  4. Prepare and manage instructional materials and resources, including inventory control, supply requests, and Xello assignments.
  5. Handle email correspondence, phone calls, and inquiries related to W.A.V.E.
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of program activities, students, and volunteer information.
  7. Assist with W.A.V.E sessions off-site as needed.
  8. Safeguard the college's confidentiality in all communication channels and through proper handling of records and documents.
  9. Promote a positive image for the college by serving as a role model for our mission, vision, and values. Provide excellent customer service, maintain a professional demeanor, and exercise sound judgment.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the effective operation of the W.A.V.E program.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Previous administrative support experience, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with K12 career training resources like Xello is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.

Education, Certification, Licensure:
