As a Senior Department Coordinator , you will be responsible for providing administrative and project support for Premera’s legal team/department. In this position, you will collaborate with various team members to understand business needs and assist with the development of communication solutions (external and internal facing), that will address those needs. Sixty percent of the time will be spent coordinating and managing departmental objectives. The remainder of the time will include departmental administrative support.

This is a hybrid role, with some onsite days required. You must live within driving distance of our Mountlake Terrace campus, located about 15 miles north of Seattle, Washington.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and/or participate as a team member on assigned projects. Track and distribute project management documentation including project plan, scope and deliverables, stakeholder analysis and other pertinent documents to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

  • Assist team members with production of materials and/or related projects/program documents, including administrative management of on-going or ad hoc reports, development of tables, charts, graphs, consolidated information, text, etc.

  • Support team with research, competitive profile information, tracking of related industry trends, and maintenance of system for cataloging or filing of research sources and outcomes.

  • Assist in support and execution of team, department, project and/or program strategies or goals to achieve business objectives.

  • Develop and/or maintain websites, blogs and/or other department specific databases, systems and/or SharePoint sites.

  • Provide office assistance to team members that would include scheduling meetings, managing deadlines, ordering supplies, tracking data, managing meeting logistics, etc.

  • Help manage vendor relationships.

  • Manage and monitor development and execution of internal and external department, team, and/or project calendars.

  • Manage distribution of various team, department, and/or project/program communications, products/artifacts and/or information to a wide range of internal audiences.

  • Generate reports and dashboards for the department, team and/or projects/programs.

  • Manage department budget and track invoices.

  • Manage department business unit goal tracking and related processes.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree or (4) years of administrative support experience. (Required)

  • (4) years of project support experience including managing project details, logistics, data, metrics, budgets, and/or tracking services. (Required)

  • Experience working in a legal, compliance, or similar type of department or comparable work environment preferred.

  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel) and SharePoint.

  • Familiarity and experience with information mining, social media applications, and/or research.

  • Able to drive end-to-end projects from planning to execution with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.

  • Able to adhere to deadlines and budgets while managing and coordinating multiple sub-projects.

  • Able to track and report on measurable activity directly connected to all manner of public affairs, internal communications, and other related communications initiatives as appropriate.

The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience.

National Salary Range:

$51,600.00 - $82,600.00

National Plus Salary Range:

$58,800.00 - $94,100.00

*National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska .
