Intuit Staff Program Manager, Customer Success in Mountain View, California

Overview

Come join Intuit as a Staff Program Manager on the Business Operations team within the Customer Success organization, supporting the Small Business and Self-Employed Group (SBSEG). We are looking for a strategic and creative program manager that can translate strategy into action, drive organizational alignment, and enable growth by bringing operational rigor to our most strategic, transformational programs. In this newly formed role, you will operate in a fast-paced environment, managing cross-functional initiatives and

deploying high-impact, strategic programs. This is an exciting time to join this team as we revolutionize the way small businesses run their business and deliver on our mission of “powering prosperity around the world.” You will be part of a team that partners with executives and organizations across Intuit to develop strategies that drive revenue growth, customer retention, and cost efficiency, define business targets, design operating models, and oversee governance of top priorities.

What you'll bring

  • 7+ years of experience driving complex programs, ideally in the technology and SaaS spaces

  • Ability to kickstart multi-org complex programs and drive delivery of quality outcomes with speed

  • Ability to skillfully use data to drive challenging discussions, align disparate leaders on program outcomes and communicate program progress, outcomes and risks to senior leadership

  • Effective consultative and influencing approach to quickly earn the trust of program sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience with communicating effectively and concisely through multiple channels to all levels of an organization, from senior executives to front-line managers

  • Ability to manage conflicting stakeholder interests, develop strong relationships, and influence stakeholders at all levels in a cross-functional environment

  • Undergraduate degree required; project management certifications are a plus (e.g. PMP)

How you will lead

  • Lead and manage multi-year, cross-functional projects across multiple areas in a fast-paced and dynamic environment on behalf of VP-level sponsors

  • Use problem-solving skills, business acumen, and strong project management abilities to develop and execute project plans, including defining scope, schedule, budget, and resources.

  • Collaborate with stakeholder teams to breakdown and organize the program into manageable pieces and objectives that can be delegated or individually owned.

  • Lead cross-functional dependency management for the end-to-end program, across all workstreams.

  • Help develop and implement processes and procedures that enhance organizational effectiveness and improve collaboration across functions.

  • Manage program stakeholders, including third-party input providers, internal team members, and senior management.

  • Track program progress and report on status to wide-ranging audiences, using data

  • Prioritize initiatives within the program and surface risks and trade-offs as well as make recommendations to the stakeholders to accelerate program performance

  • Ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

  • Adhere to all project and program management methodologies and best practices.
