Google Senior Android Partner Engineer in Mountain View, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 6 years of experience in software technology or technical partner management in Android or other Linux-based embedded systems.

  • 6 years of experience in system design or in a programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python, etc.).

  • 6 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.

  • 8 years of experience in a customer-facing role.

The Android Partner Engineering team works with the Android device ecosystem to extend the boundaries of what can be achieved with the Android platform. The team is engaged with OEMs, carriers, chipset vendors and ODMs across the globe and work in a fast-paced technology driven environment. The goal is to make Android the platform of choice across multiple consumer and enterprise domains while ensuring that Android devices remain updated and secure.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant in Android Partner Engineering (APE), you will be the engagement manager taking responsibility for the success of important Privacy Sandbox engagement with Android OEM and carrier partnerships. You will lead deployments, optimize implementations and integrations to drive new business opportunities, and manage the overall technical aspects to build long-term partnerships related to the Privacy Sandbox.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Advocate new product features and policy to ensure resolution of technical challenges.

  • Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration (both new and ongoing) by providing the necessary documentation and technical guidance.

  • Improve Android product features, by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management, Business Development, and Software Engineering.
