Intuit Principal Financial Analyst in Mountain View, California

Overview

The Small Business & Self Employed Group (“SBSEG”) is Intuit’s largest business unit with $6B+ in revenue, serving 8M+ customers with the QuickBooks line of products including accounting, payments, payroll and financing solutions. Specifically, the SBSEG Strategic Planning Team leads the SBSEG Finance team processes and partners with senior leaders to deliver growth.

About the Strategic Planning FP&A Team:

We are responsible for the overall financial processes and consolidation of key business results across SBSEG. In addition, we develop strategic data driven insights and partner with key senior leaders to execute our vision of being the “champion of those who dare to dream”. We also work across the company with senior leaders as the focal point for SBSEG financial goals and results.

What you'll bring

  • BS in Finance or Economics, or equivalent experience (MBA Preferred)

  • 10+ years relevant experience in a highly dynamic finance role (Global experience preferred)

  • Strong understanding of investment management in a high growth Technology company (preferably SaaS)

  • Self-motivated individual with demonstrated ability to both lead and drive analysis

  • Trusted business partner who delivers operational excellence by understanding the needs of the business and identifying opportunities to improve financial results

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem solving, and financial modeling skills

  • Excellent collaboration skills, ability to work well within teams, and ability to coordinate across multiple organizations

  • Strong communicator with proven ability to synthesize data into clear, direct and actionable senior Executive deliverables (e.g. dashboards, presentations, etc.)

  • Passion for problem-solving, comfortable with ambiguity, creative and able to juggle multiple priorities

How you will lead

  • Consolidate SBSEG results for customers, revenue, and expenses to deliver data driven insights on business performance and future implications for senior finance and business leaders

  • Create executive presentations to deliver cohesive storylines for SBSEG to Board of Directors, Senior Intuit Staff, and Senior SBSEG Staff

  • Lead 1- and 3-year strategic planning and forecast processes across SBSEG Finance

  • Thoughtfully lay out dashboards and reporting to drive executive insights and decision making in support of our strategic and financial plans

  • Drive various analyses that deliver data driven insights in a structured manner to promote business outcomes that accelerate our growth trajectory

  • Collaborate cross-functionally on strategic initiatives to deliver awesome results to the senior leaders and broader finance teams
