Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Member Services Representative to join our team. The primary role of this position is to resolve and respond to inquiries and issues related to the products or services our members utilize. This role combines problem-solving, relationship management, and customer service skills to ensure a high standard of member satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Promptly respond to member inquiries via phone, email, and in person, offering exceptional customer service.
Accurately maintain members' accounts, process changes and updates as needed.
Provide detailed information about company products and services.
Follow set procedures and scripts when handling different topics.
Handle member complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution.
Assist in resolving operational problems and conferring with supervisors as necessary.
Greet, guide, and assist members in navigating the facility or using the services.
Participate in member retention efforts and create positive member relations.
Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve member issues.
Identify and escalate customer issues to the appropriate department or supervisor.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Previous experience in a customer service or member service role is preferred.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively resolve conflicts and handle complaints.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Must be detail-oriented and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
Must possess basic computer skills and have experience with CRM systems and practices.
Working Conditions:
The Member Services Representative primarily works in an office setting. This job may require the ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Some evening and weekend work may be required. The ability to speak, hear, and see is necessary for communication with members and co-workers and to complete the job effectively and safely.
