Requisition Summary The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for the execution of all assigned Running Business projects, in liaison with Running Business department leadership, within assigned budget constraints. Job Functions / Responsibilities Responsible for the execution of all assigned Running Business projects, in liaison with Running Business department leadership, within assigned budget constraints. Ensure that Project Execution Processes on assigned projects are aligned to the requirements of approved company processes and coordinate with other PMs, across the powertrain and vehicle programs, to achieve consistent execution of projects. Oversee the internal financial reporting process to ensure consistency of reporting across all assigned projects and ensure that resource requirements are identified and filled in a timely manner. Lead coordination and dissemination of PACCAR running change improvements. Manage communication to PACCAR Field Service, Product Development, Quality, and Manufacturing organizations. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Proactively manage change in project scope, identify potential problems, and devise contingency plans and manage risk across the entire project life cycle. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations for regular internal and external review meetings. Qualifications Should have a background in project management, five or more years of experience in program management preferred. Able to communicate effectively across functional boundaries, as well as up and down the leadership chain. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new environments and achieve objectives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. Must be willing to travel. Education BS degree in related field required. Advanced degree preferred. Program Management Professional certification preferred.
