Position Summary:

The Psychology Department at Central Michigan University invites applications for a full-time, fixed-term faculty position to begin in fall 2024. This position requires teaching four courses per semester, which may include face-to-face and online courses.

The area of specialty is open. Our undergraduate program (both on-campus and online) consists of three majors: General Psychology, Mental Health Concentration, and Business Psychology Concentration.

This is a one year full-time, academic year position with a possibility of an additional year of appointment. Research is not required but there will be opportunities for collaborative research with existing faculty. 

Required Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in psychology or related field. ABD will be considered. • Experience of teaching Psychology courses in both face-to-face and online format. • Evidence of teaching effectiveness. • Abililty to peform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
