Description Major responsibilities

Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing contracts including sales agreements, purchases, licenses, and leases
Support acquisition due diligence, and generate and file government reports
Contribute to ongoing development of procedures and policies including diversity and inclusion program Requirements - Minimum 5 years of supervisory/management experience.
Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills, with an ability to communicate complex issues in a simple way and to orchestrate plans to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
Must be well-versed in contract drafting and dealing with cross-border legal issues and transactions, preferably in a regulated financial services environment with experience in dealing with multiple regulatory frameworks in different jurisdictions.
Strong academic credentials with a J.D. from an accredited law school; attorney's license must be current, active and in good standing.
Detail-oriented, organized, efficient and resourceful with strong follow-through skills, as well as demonstrated strategic approach to legal problem solving.
Minimum 8 years of practice in a law firm or in-house with a practice concentration in real estate, finance, entity formation and other commercial areas.
Strong understanding of U.S. regulatory compliance as it relates to financial services, financial crime, privacy, corporate governance and risk management.
Comfortable interacting with legal and business leaders internally and externally, and superb negotiation skills.
