Description Major responsibilities

  • Company provides growth opportunity, full benefits, bonus and other corporate perks

  • Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing contracts including sales agreements, purchases, licenses, and leases

  • Support acquisition due diligence, and generate and file government reports

  • Contribute to ongoing development of procedures and policies including diversity and inclusion program Requirements - Minimum 5 years of supervisory/management experience.

  • Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills, with an ability to communicate complex issues in a simple way and to orchestrate plans to resolve issues and mitigate risks.

  • Must be well-versed in contract drafting and dealing with cross-border legal issues and transactions, preferably in a regulated financial services environment with experience in dealing with multiple regulatory frameworks in different jurisdictions.

  • Strong academic credentials with a J.D. from an accredited law school; attorney's license must be current, active and in good standing.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, efficient and resourceful with strong follow-through skills, as well as demonstrated strategic approach to legal problem solving.

  • Minimum 8 years of practice in a law firm or in-house with a practice concentration in real estate, finance, entity formation and other commercial areas.

  • Strong understanding of U.S. regulatory compliance as it relates to financial services, financial crime, privacy, corporate governance and risk management.

  • Comfortable interacting with legal and business leaders internally and externally, and superb negotiation skills.
