Job Description

Analyzes, verifies, tracks and reports on the processing of donations, gifts and pledges. Creates and generates various financial activity reports. Partners with management to identify and assess opportunities for ongoing improvements.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyzes, verifies, tracks and reports on the processing of donations, gifts and pledges; receives and enters detailed gift information into department database.

  • Communicates with external constituents, appropriately, understanding donor confidentiality; refers donor inquiries to management, as needed.

  • Records new pledges into the application database and prepares pledge bills; maintains central filing system with all relevant details regarding pledge payments and outright gifts.

  • Creates and generates various financial activity reports.

  • Prepares daily batch entry validation report and distributes to management.

  • Builds customized queries and reports for management, as requested.

  • Serves as a liaison between the department and Information Technology (IT) support services; troubleshoots and resolves hardware/software/network problems, when possible; performs for daily data backup process.

  • Completes appropriate forms to notify IT of new users/computers/printers and to reports problems.

  • Maintains daily log of IT issues and resolutions; keeps management informed of IT issues and resolution status.

  • Operates under general guidance and work assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action.

Job Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience, required.

  • Raiser's Edge experience preferred.

  • The ideal candidate is organized, methodical and process oriented.

  • Ability to manage stakeholders and partnerships.

  • Technologically savvy.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).

The salary range for this position is $58,500-$75,012/year
