Essential Functions of the Job: Primary duties require the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance on a consistent basis. The ability to efficiently dispatch orders for multiple locations. Be able to look at tasks and be able to effectively and efficiently prioritize workload Maintain attitude that promotes teamwork within the cooperative and a favorable image of the cooperative Management: Develop an annual budget Attend and take an active role in staff meetings Communicate appropriate information to subordinates Assist agronomy management team in supply and product numbers and information to make best purchasing decisions Offer suggestions and ideas as to ways to improve and create efficiencies in the operation of the hub Recommend equipment and facility replacement or asset additions needed to improve efficiencies and profitability Facilities: Maintain all equipment and facilities in good working order and field ready Develop and adhere to a scheduled preventative maintenance program Accurately account for daily product sales, transfers and inventories Customer and Sales: Nurture customer relations Perform all other duties necessary to meet and exceed customer needs and expectations Greet customers warmly and enthusiastically Service walk-in business Employee: Plan and schedule work for employees and assure that it is completed Assist with hands-on training of respective personnel Create an environment to enhance employee teamwork Assign duties and delegate authority to employee and check performance Monitor and evaluate employees' performance Implement safety programs and conduct regularly scheduled safety meetings in conjunction with the Safety & Security Director Enforce all Company policies and procedures Become familiar with the duties of the branch administrative assistance to ensure correct accounting at the branch and customer invoicing Requirements: High school graduate with additional business/agricultural background Responsible for equipment assigned, such as truck Valid driver's license with clean driving record Self-motivated and ability to work well with others and independently Required to uphold all of LFC's Company, Credit and Safety policies Customer-service focused Strong interpersonal and verbal communications skills Work with Safety & Security Director to manage our risks Establish goals to attain growth in business as well as work as a team to enhance our efficiency to our customers Miscellaneous Information & Preferred Experience: Limited overnight travel Standard work week is Monday through Friday; needs of the business may dictate exceptions to this standard Applicants agree to be drug tested as a condition of employment and will not be hired should he/she fail to produce a negative test Good computer skills Possesses fl
