Medtronic Program Lead - Product DNA Organizational Change Management & Communications in Mounds View, Minnesota

The preferred working location for this role is the Medtronic facility located in Mounds View, Minnesota; however, the individual may also work remotely within the US or onsite at another US-based Medtronic facility.

In this role, you will partner with the Senior Product DNA OCM Program Lead, team members, OU Wave Deployment leads, and stakeholders to support the execution of targeted change strategies for program deployments. You will report to the Senior OCM Program Lead of the Product DNA Program within Medtronic’s Global Technology and Innovation function.

Product DNA is a transformational program across the Medtronic enterprise to simplify the way we create, manage, and utilize product data. The north star vision of Product DNA is to create a foundational connected digital thread of product information. The Product DNA program will improve upon outdated technology and infrastructure through streamlining systems used across the organization, as well as implementing best in class practices and procedures. This change will impact all groups, functions, and regions across Medtronic. This will be a multi–year, multi-phase program that will ultimately improve patients’ lives.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Prepare material for and participate in key Program meetings or workshops that support upcoming deployment routines.

• Champion Product DNA in a way that engages and excites the end-user community.

• Adapt the Program change and engagement strategy to define and help OUs execute their local change plan.

• Identify deployment-related change impacts and develop change strategies to manage risk.

• Author, deploy, and maintain program and local communication deliverables across defined channels to enable OUs to drive deployment-focused change readiness and promotion.

• Administer and manage Change Network (candidates, experiences, communication) to prepare super user community through go live and hyper care.

• Measure deployment readiness: Adapt Program readiness criteria to identify deployment-focused criteria as you lead and execute readiness checkpoints (facilitation, documentation, readiness issue escalation, and adapt change activities as appropriate).

• Liaison with stakeholders to answer implementation readiness questions, including but not limited to local procedures redlines, training development, and role mapping activities.

MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree

• 5+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience with an advanced degree

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)

• Strongly Preferred:

o Previous Medtronic experience

o Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, business, or related discipline

o Prosci certification

o 5+ years of experience in change management roles

o Proficient application of change management methodologies, techniques, and tools

o Experience in global technology and process transformation programs, including execution of processes, projects, and tactics in a matrixed environment.

o Effective planning and organization skills including the proven ability to work against multiple objectives and on multiple swim lanes simultaneously.

o Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and issue-resolution skills across multiple levels of the organization.

o Creative problem-solver and collaborative team player

o Strong interpersonal, relationship, and team-building skills

• Motivated and self-directed with a “can-do” attitude.

• Experience developing strong written and visual communication tools and resources to drive change awareness and adoption.

• Strong technology skills and experience working in SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
