Job Summary:
The position is in the Advanced Materials Technology (AMT) Development Team located on Caterpillar’s Technical Center campus in Mossville, IL. AMT supports the company’s material property database, used globally by structural analysts, designers, and regulatory compliance analysts. The role is focused on manufacturing and material data management, developing and implementing complex manufacturing applications and industrial data analysis. Emphasis will be on application development and programming, database administration, security implementation, and application change management.
What You Will Do:
· Software architecture and design, including documentation
· Capture and analyze system requirements
· Develop, deploy, and manage C# Web APIs
· Design and develop data-driven applications
· Using and managing source control systems (Git)
· Database development administration (Oracle, SQLServer)
· Operating system administration (Windows, Powershell)
· Troubleshooting of database and reporting platforms
· Implement and manage software security and access control (SAML)
· Participate on many projects concurrently and with cross-functional teams
· Lead new technology initiatives in industrial applications
· Provide guidance on material data usage, including data on material fatigue, fracture and deformation.
Education Requirement:
· B.S. in Computer Science or Software Engineering

Summary Pay Range:
$95,640.00 - $143,520.00
