Job Summary:

As a Senior Engineering Project Team Leader, you will coordinate various technical teams in the development of our next generation of service tool products. Areas of responsibility include requirements and competitive analysis, leading technical discussions, driving implementation through the multiple software development teams and communicating project status to various levels of the enterprise. What You Will Do:

  • Lead all technical implementation aspects of the new generation of service tools.

  • Coordinate customer requirements and prioritize requests.

  • Manage resources / tasks across multiple software development groups.

  • Oversee project progress and costs.

  • Present project status to various enterprise stakeholders

Education requirement:

Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

Technical Excellence:

  • Leads discussions on strategic technical issues to drive effective and value-based decisions.

  • Resolve priority and requirement conflicts between technical and commercial team members.

  • Manages others in providing “tradeoffs” to solutions while considering all possible critical business factors.

  • Ensures quality by driving thorough designs and managing the end-to-end validation process.

Project Management:

  • Organizes the technical aspects of the product development process.

  • Manages high profile project with several key stakeholders.

  • Monitors major program milestones and resolves issues with performing teams as they arise.

  • Evaluates competitive products and communicates findings.

  • Communicates project status to various levels of the enterprise.

Team Management :

  • Coordinate activities across worldwide teams to develop enterprise solutions.

  • Create a positive work environment while being challenged to deliver on commitments.

  • Communicate strategy and clear expectations to cross-functional teams.

Requirements Analysis:

  • Drives team members to create / store requirements with conformance to enterprise standards.

  • Traces deliverables back to requirements documentation and resolves conflicts with associated teams.

  • Ensures stakeholders have reviewed and approved requirements.

Troubleshooting Technical Problems:

  • Evaluates cost / benefit for technical solutions and prioritizes resolution of major issues.

  • Leads discussions on difficult or high-impact system problems.

  • Communicates issue status and corrective actions to key stakeholders.

Product Design and Development :

  • Leads in designing and implementing new software distribution methods.

  • Evaluates the development of new technologies and tools for software design and development.

  • Ensures organizational best practices for the management of software design and development.

Additional Information:

The location for this position is Mossville, IL

Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position.

This position will require less than 10% travel.
