This job was posted by https://illinoisjoblink.illinois.gov : For more information, please see: https://illinoisjoblink.illinois.gov/jobs/12013258 The Program Manager is responsible for the overall management and success of a specialized on-site managed workforce program to ensure achievement of all contractual obligations and performance in meeting and exceeding goals and objectives. This individual is responsible for the execution and delivery of an on-site program.

Operational Efforts

  • Act as the main point of liaison between the client and DTS management on all program related issues.
  • Meet with client stakeholders on a regular basis to monitor quality, delivery, assess upcoming needs, current service levels, new or changing issues in the department, growth opportunities or other matters.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
  • Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Develop and manage production strategies and schedules to meet internal safety, quality, volume, and cost goals.
  • Implement safety and security inspections, auditing, and training procedures to meet OSHA and other required regulations.
  • Develop and assist, as required, in problem solving strategies for client issues.
  • Develop and present quarterly business reviews with client stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes.
  • Knowledge of business productivity software and an aptitude for learning new applications.
  • Prepare reports based on specific program goals, measurements, KPI\'s or SLA\'s as necessary.
  • Maintain relationships with key client stakeholders.

Leadership Efforts

  • Manage and oversee the day to day activities of the operational team to ensure the delivery of a successful program.
  • Monitor the overall performance of the program and develop continuous improvement recommendations and plans.
  • Assist management team with the training of staff on program policies and procedures.
  • Provide clear leadership and motivation to the team, ensuring they are aware of the company vision, the business goals and their individual objectives.
  • Provide general management, coaching, counseling and training of direct reports.
  • Review training requirements, develop and agree training action plans with individual staff members and ensure their implementation in conjunction with management.
  • Handle all HR functions such as compensation, fair employment practices, performance reviews, disciplinary actions and hiring and terminations of DTS program employees as necessary.

Qualifications & Required Skills

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

  • 3-5 years\' management and supervision experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering preferred; an equivalent combination of education and exp rience may be considered.
  • Strong customer service skills; ability to work with various personalities and styles of individuals.
  • Ability to develop open and positive customer relations.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to successfully communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to successfully communicate in-person and by telephone with internal staff, external customers.
  • Ability to work with in a flexible work environment and non-traditional work schedules, as necessary.
  • Excellent organizational skills and detailed oriented.
  • Computer and office equipment proficiency.
  • Working knowledge of applicable software\'s utilized at the customer location.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment law.

Pay Range*: \$70,000 - \$85,000

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate\'s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
