JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for supporting projects across a wide range of automation, asset connectivity, and machine learning/vision systems.
Interface directly with multiple teams including Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, Product Change Control and Safety.
Work both independently and as part of a team to maintain and improve processes and systems used in manufacturing.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATONS:
Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Masters will be acceptable in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
2-3 years of engineering experience
General knowledge of automation concepts or robotics
General knowledge of networked machines
General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
General knowledge of data analytics
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with robot and/or PLC programming
Experience with machine tool connectivity
Experience with 3D modeling software
Experience with machine learning / vision system
