The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for timely shipment of customer orders originating at BAM-2, coordinating the ordering of raw materials and receiving those as well as being the BAM-2 point of contact for customers. This role will closely partner with several functions, key amongst are Manufacturing, Quality, and Business Development. We look for you to handle multiple tasks simultaneously such as, scheduling of shipment arrangements, coordinating with logistics and freight companies per a shipment matrix, as well as creating required shipping documentation and performing inventory transactions in the SAP.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING :

-Prepare timely and accurately all documents needed for shipping of finished goods and other outbound materials to internal, domestic, and international customers.

-Coordinate with carriers and third-party logistics companies on pick up of shipments and tracking shipments to delivery.

-Identify and resolve any shipment issues.

-Proactively engage with key stakeholders to verify product readiness for shipment.

-Provide internal and external customers with shipment notification and maintain documentation in SAP-based logistics application and/or other appropriate files.

-Track information in SAP to support OTIF results and report weekly/monthly to management.

-Coordinate daily with the Business Development team and Customer Service on prioritization of orders, delivery schedule, shortages and problem orders.

-Coordinate with Ops Team on customer order prioritization and packaging readiness.

-Verify shipment information against bills of lading, invoices, purchase orders, work orders or other records to ensure accuracy of shipment weight and documentation.

-Review cycle count data of finished goods, raw materials and packaging materials to ensure accuracy of SAP inventory quantities and required re-order quantities.

-Receive in SAP raw materials and packaging materials.

-Enter finished goods production reporting, inventory adjustments, sales order allocations and other inventory related transactions into SAP.

-Monthly inventory mass balance to provide insight into operational efficiency.

-Maintain weekly BAM-2 production spreadsheet.

-Must be willing to be cross trained in all areas of shipping and receiving departments and be a back-up to associates to perform required tasks within department as needed.

-Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR :

-3+ years of experience in a shipping/receiving role with a strong preference for those that have worked in a manufacturing environment.

-The role requires a candidate that has a balance of technical and administrative skills. The preferred candidate will be organized, have excellent SAP skills (preferably in shipping and receiving), experience in customer service, excellent written and oral communication skills, and basic accounts payable knowledge.

-Must have strong digital foundation and be able to pick up software systems quickly.

-Knowledge and experience relating to documentation, logistics, insurance, packing, customs brokers and freight for domestic and international transactions.

-A high degree of ownership of shipping customer orders, the ability to adapt to issues as they arise and provide solutions.

The base pay range for this position is $25/hr - $30/hr. All positions come with a company bonus and stock options. The actual base pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.
