The Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA) is responsible to perform nursing duties under the direct oversight of an RN or LPN and performs other duties as assigned.
The CNA Answers call lights in a timely manner and notifies appropriate team member of patients' needs
CNA's assists with admission, discharge and transport of patients
Help orients patient and significant others to the unit
CNA's recognizes and reports pertinent data, changes in patient condition and or safety hazards to appropriate team member
Integrates recommendations from nursing or leadership into practice
Qualifications:
Current FL CNA License
BLS (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider card) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Level II AHCA background check
