BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Mental Health Technician II to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Morton Plant North Bay!
Position Details:
Facility: Morton Plant North Bay
Location: Lutz, FL
Status: Full Time, Hourly
Shift Hours: 12:45 PM - 1:15 AM- Evening Shift
Weekend Work: Every Other
On Call: No
Mental Health Technician II Responsibilities:
Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.
Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.
Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.
Promotes coordination of the unit by completing orders, making phone calls and directing calls and information to the charge nurse.
Requirements:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
High School or Equivalent
FL Driver's License
Preferred - Associate's in Healthcare/Psychology
Preferred - CNA/PCT
Required Experience:
- 6 months - Psychology
