CTG Hyperscale Validation Engineer in Morrisville, North Carolina
Description
CTG is seeking to fill a Hyperscale Validation Engineer opening for our client in Morrisville, NC.
Location: Morrisville, NC
Duration: 18+ months, with possibility for extension
Duties:
Execute test plans on servers
Set up, deploy, and reconfigure server hardware.
Research and understand new functions.
Review test plans and test cases.
Identify and document defects.
Identify automation opportunities and either develop or request automation tools.
Skills:
Proficient in server operating systems (primarily Windows, with some experience in RedHat, SuSE, VMWare, Ubuntu).
Familiarity with UEFI or systems management functions/protocols.
Understanding of product validation, unit testing, or error injection.
Knowledge of computer/server subsystems.
Understanding of Intel, AMD, or ARM architecture.
Ability to interpret technical documents, such as system or protocol specifications.
Knowledge of validation methodologies.
Programming/scripting skills, particularly in Python, are a plus.
Familiarity with automated tests/automation frameworks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
